Stamford Plaza Brisbane Hotel, Brisbane

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mix. The rooms were quite old-fashioned, and the air-conditioning had a hard time keeping up. However, the location was fantastic, just a short walk to Eagle Street and the city. The hotel had everything we needed, except for a freezer in the fridge, which was a bit inconvenient. On the downside, I found it to be a bit too expensive for what it offered.

The location was fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from the City Hopper ferry terminal, offering easy access to various attractions. The dining experience was top-notch with a fantastic selection of dishes, but there were some issues with the service, particularly during check-out. Overall, a mix of positives and negatives, but a memorable stay.

The dining experience had its ups and downs; while the buffet arrangements were not that good, we were pleasantly surprised with a delightful dessert platter delivered to our room for my husband's birthday. Overall, the hotel has great facilities, and I appreciated the view, easy access, and comfortable bedding. Two positive aspects were the beautiful views and welcoming staff, while the downside was the limited dining options and the less-than-ideal buffet arrangements.
